Knowledge Platform (KP) launches Pakistan’s very first digital learning challenge – LEARN SMART PAKISTAN. Using KP’s adaptive learning management system (UBJ) and content developed in collaboration with Pakistan’s public schools, students have free access to more than 200 video lectures covering the entire federal 9th grade math curriculum, over 161 math drills and educational games, and 2,500 exam questions in multiple choice format.
The challenge gives students the opportunity to practice their math skills, engage with their peers and teachers all over the country, and access more educational content than ever before during their summer vacation. Teachers also participate in the LEARN SMART PAKISTAN challenge by providing assistance to students on specific math topics, offering teaching support, and holding online office hours.
In addition to furthering student education, Knowledge Platform’s UBJ empowers teachers by providing detailed insight into student progress and activity, teacher-to-teacher discussions on educational topics, teaching tips, and resource recommendations.
Participating students and teachers come from 22 different schools across Pakistan including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Jehlum, and Wah Cantt. Out of the 103 participating students 30 are male and 75 are female.
The competition ends on Friday, August 15th. Students and teachers will be awarded prizes of an iPad Mini, Nexus 7, and 3G EVO TAB in categories of Highest Proficiency Attained, Greatest Online Effort, and Most Helpful Teacher.
