Saaniya Faisal is an instructional designer with experience in team and project management, content development and translation, and as a VOA. She currently leads the development of Primary, Middle, and Secondary Science content, including engaging videos, interactive lessons, STEAM activities, assessments, educational games, and workbooks. These resources provide immersive, blended learning solutions for both online and offline educational needs, ensuring quality, engagement, curriculum alignment, consistency, and accessibility for the intended demographic. Her expertise includes content creation, review, developing or mapping curriculum taxonomies, and strategic project management to ensure timely completion of complex projects. She collaborates closely with graphic designers, animators, audio engineers, technical developers, and content managers, using her attention to detail during various review stages, to produce high-quality content that meets organisational standards. At Knowledge Platform, Saaniya has excelled in cross-disciplinary collaboration, managing impactful projects, and creating educational content across various domains, thanks to her mentors and peers. She has managed content for curriculum-aligned Science and environmental literacy programs for UNICEF, the World Bank, and the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFEPT). Additionally, she has contributed to financial literacy, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship initiatives, focused on women empowerment, for clients such as UNDP, JICA, and the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF) in collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan. Academically, Saaniya majored in Electronics in her Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, earning two gold medals for academic excellence. Over time and after gaining valuable experience, Saaniya has become a strong advocate for work-life balance, believing it contributes to higher productivity and the overall well-being of employees. She tries to maintain a healthy work environment, promoting positive relationships among her team members. In her personal life, Saaniya is passionate about travelling, exploring new food outlets, insect and animal photography, and linguistics. She also enjoys learning about the science behind things and the latest research in the fields of Physics and engineering.
