Knowledge Platform Selected to Provide E-Learning Solutions to Emirates Airline

Knowledge Platform was recently selected to provide e-learning solutions to Emirates Airline.  Working in partnership with Dubai IT Training Academy (an IT training and e-learning initiative of the Crown Prince of Dubai), Knowledge Platform was chosen after a rigorous selection process which involved review by Emirates of over a dozen competing bids.  The initial solution has already been successfully developed and delivered by Knowledge Platform.

“We were delighted and honoured to be selected for a variety of reasons,” stated Mahboob Mahmood, CEO of Knowledge Platform.  “E-Learning is just beginning to take off in a serious way in the Middle East and, as in many other areas, Emirates has taken in the lead in adopting innovative new solutions and acting as a bell weather for the region.  More significantly, the e-learning team at Emirates has developed a comprehensive and compelling strategy.  They have ambitious plans, which are consistent with the scale of the learning requirements of the rapidly growing airline, but they are approaching this challenge in a measured and systematic manner.   Accordingly, Emirates is an ideal client for us in the still-emerging field of e-learning and we hope that we can both make valuable contributions to the deployment of e-learning within the organization and enhance our own service offering for the region.”

Meenu Iyer, Chief Content Officer (India) for Knowledge Platform, noted that “Our interaction with Emirates’ e-learning team was extremely effective and smoothl.  We are looking forward to the prospect of deepening our relationship with this highly innovative client. I believe that Emirates and Knowledge Platform also had a wonderfully complementary engagement with Dubai IT Training Academy.”
